“The Evolution of Flora” is a kinetic steel-fabricated sculpture, and was installed at the Performance Arts Center in downtown Colorado Springs on 6/25 as part of their yearlong 2009 11th Annual Art on the Streets Exhibition and Competition. It was my 1st year participating in the event, which boasted its largest number of entries and the highest caliber of artwork from Artist across the country and abroad. “The Evolution of Flora” won the $5k  3rd place prize, and was the only out of state artwork to place.
